The Hampden Park Community Association is situated on the Right Hand side of Brodrick Road when approaching from Hampden Park Station.

The venue has a sprung wooden floor. Classes are taught by a friendly and Qualified LeRoc Federation Instructor, with great music from a top JIVETIME  Weekender DJ.

 

Mike & Ken are both experienced LeRoc Modern Jive dancers and teachers and already run their own classes. Mike with his dance partner Glynis in Hastings & Ken & Lorraine in Bexhill. Website Links at the foot of this page.

DANCING IS ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN AND ENJOYING YOURSELF - AND THERE IS NO TEST AT THE END OF THE EVENING.

Le Roc (Modern Jive) is one the fastest growing partner dance in the UK & is a fusion of Jive & Salsa. Le Roc is a Social dance that can be danced to a wide variety of Modern Music and is suitable for dancers of all ages.  Also if you have one or two left feet you can still learn to dance with HOT-LEROC. 

Our Classes are taught in a way that it is easy for you to learn more quickly. Le Roc Modern Jive is Suitable for Singles, Groups & Partners. Our Evenings are FUN, Sociable & a Great way to meet new friends so, there is no need to bring a partner. Absolute Beginners Always Welcome..

Our Doors open at 7.30pm for pre class dancing or for just a drink and a chat with your new dance friends or listen to the music.

We will teach you 18 Beginner moves on our rolling 8 Week Beginner Classes  (7.50 - 8.30pm) Each week we will teach you how to dance 4  moves in a circular routine. This will allow you to dance to a routine on your first night. The timing and Style takes a little longer....Now the bad news > Your First 6 - 8 weeks are the hardest < Now the Good news >>>> We have all been there....if we were born dancers then you would be born wearing dance shoes.....We had to buy ours.
